Reel Life Sports Fishing Charters is owned and operated by Captain Joseph S. Musso, a South Jersey native hooked on fishing since he was young. In 1984, he purchased his first boat, a 18-foot bow rider. Reel Life came to be in 1994 when he purchased a 20-foot Mako and began tournament fishing.

A repeated tournament winner, in 2005 alone, his team landed three first place wins and a second in the six tournaments they entered. "Team Reel Life" ended their 2005 season with this 47 3/4-pound striper (picture below) caught during the last competition of the season...a first place finish.

Captain Joe holds a charter captain’s six-pack license - USCG Certified. There’s a lot to be excited this year as he launches his new 29-foot center console, tournament-ready, Hydra Sport...the Reel Life III. His vessel is a fast moving, twin engine champ with the kind of room fore-and-aft to sport his tournament team or your charter party in comfort.

When he’s not hosting a charter or participating a tournament, he’s on the water tracking and fishing in catch and release. The Delaware Bay is a big place and his research pays off because he knows where the fish are biting.
